About Vanexus
Trust is earned in production. Whoever is watching.
Vanexus is a Sydney-based AI consultancy built on one conviction: intelligence only counts when it ships, runs and stands up to scrutiny. We carry that standard through everything we do: strategy, engineering, training and products.
The founder
Twenty years where failure wasn't an option
We built and led agentic AI to governed production inside a global Tier-1 bank, from architecture through hands-on engineering: RAG pipelines, evaluation harnesses, model governance and AI DevOps. Passed regulatory 2LOD reviews on AI and cloud systems. APRA is now asking regulated entities to build that discipline. We already have.
That sits on 22+ years running mission-critical platforms at Tier-1 global banks, environments where 99.99% uptime is the floor, regulators sit across the table, and operational-resilience programs (ECB, DORA) are delivered, not just documented. The same family of obligations CPS 230 now brings to Australian entities.
Five of those years were spent inside financial-crime risk: KYC, transaction monitoring, fraud. That work taught us something simple: a system that can't explain its own behaviour doesn't survive scrutiny. Regulatory or commercial. Agentic AI makes that lesson urgent again. We bring the production discipline to prove it can be done.
What we stand for
Principles that survive an audit
Working systems over slideware
Every engagement ends with something that runs: a system in production, a roadmap a board can act on, artefacts an auditor can inspect. Never just a deck.
Humans make the final call
AI assembles, drafts and recommends. People decide. That principle is engineered into the systems we build, not written into a policy and hoped for.
Claims we can stand behind
We build multi-agent systems across AWS, GCP and Azure and say exactly that. Inflated claims are a risk indicator, including from your consultants.
Fixed scope, finite weeks
Engagements are fixed-scope, 4–12 weeks, with deliverables agreed up front. Momentum is part of the offer. In regulated work, the deadline demands it.
